Day 36:

Interstate travel will be allowed from this Saturday but with police permit. Let's hope no mass exodus on the road when everyone takes as advantage of this.
Our #COVID19Malaysia infections are slowing down & green zones are increasing.

We might have a glimmer hope that the loosening up of #MovementControlOrder #PerintahKawalanPergerakan might be in order.

Malaysians shud expect a change in their lifestyle post-MCO/PKP. Question is can most of us manage it?
[2/8]
Even with current movement control measures (esp in Phase 3), ppl are already impatient & started going out. Evidently from daily traffic jams at road blocks, the daily lepak sessions of the same 6 ppl at the purported food bank at my neighborhood's Rukun Tetangga shack,...

...and also the shameful acts of Health Dep Minister, Rural Dev Dep Minister, an EXCO member, Terengganu Chief Minister.

Why do our elected reps have the opportunity to give their respective statements to the police, while the public gets arrested and remanded on the spot?

Sr Minister (Security) mentioned last week that "nobody is above the law".https://t.co/6p2h8GR858

Again, I am wondering about the double standards in our legal system.
It seems MPs (who are to lead by example since they are public figures) can be "above the law",...
[5/8]
...as currently seen from the leeway by the government. So, naturally the rakyat will follow their great examples! They will not be afraid as the law, to them is deemed #meaninglessness.

I'm afraid once lifting of MCO/PKP happens, chaos will be in order since authorities are not showing the right & tough authority they have been entrusted to uphold the law (also I quote back SM (Security) who said Phase 3 will be tougher enforcements).#StayHome#DudukRumah

At the very least the government is handing out payments for those in need on time in full, and also helping out the SMEs and business community. No double standards there, I guess?
